2017 Review
Liskeard and District Museum

Thank you to all the visitors and volunteers who made 2017 a truly wonderful year!
- We saw visitor numbers of over 4,500 and had fantastic feedback.
- We ran talks walks and workshops and had visitors from all around the world.
- Local schools were involved in the museum by visiting us here in Liskeard, but also by having us visit them and talk about what we do here at the museum.
- We ran art creative workshops, highlighting the impact of plastics on the environment.
- Our memory boxes were used by local groups in their work with the older generation.
Although it is sad to close for the winter, this allows the team to prepare the new exhibitions for 2018 which we hope will be just as inspiring and interesting.
The museum team looks forward to welcoming you back in February.
Please follow us on Facebook and Twitter to keep updated on our progress.
