Details:
Retired teachers, Liz and Carol come to your school to provide a half a day's worth of activities like for evacuees in the local area during WW2. Based on real events, ‘Fred's Story' gives an insight into what life was like for evacuees and their host families in the rural community of St Agnes. Illustrated with pictures and artefacts, the story is followed up with map work, crafts, drawing, sorting and handling. We are currently developing a Mining Outreach session - please contact us for details.
