Museum Description


A friendly local Centre relating to the town of Callington and most of the surrounding parishes.  Mainly concerned with the mining history of the area, agriculture and social history.  There are free facilities for family history research including use of computer. 

The main exhibition for 2011 is "Tipplers and Teetotallers - what did your ancestors drink?" which gives the social history of drinking in the Callington-Calstock area of East Cornwall from Medieval times to the present day.
