Museums & Galleries Network in Cornwall

MAGnet supports the development of education and learning in museums, archives, and galleries across Cornwall. It is open to both volunteers and professional staff, and performs a number of functions:

Newsletters
issues of the newsletter are available as a pdf download. The newsletter has been discontinued so we no longer have a means to highlight current development other than through case studies included in Renaissance publications.

Skills sharing
MAGnet liaises with GEM and MLA Southwest to keep training purposeful. Focus for small museums at the moment is on Care of Collections. MAGnet is focussing on developing 'Family Friendly Gallery Spaces'. A skills sharing session will be arranged for those museums participating in the Museum Development Funded project.
