Introduction
The Archive Centre holds written information (newspapers, correspondence, maps, documents, programmes, books etc.) and a large collection of photographs on all aspects of the history of St Ives and its surrounding area, which is available to people of all ages. It is a charitable organization and is run by a team of volunteers.

| Tours of St Ives harbour and the Lifeboat House | This is a tour around the harbour area and is available on request | KS2 | History Gography | This tour compares the past with the present (in particular the fishing industry compared to the town as a tourist destination) using old photographs. The Big Book of Seaside Holidays includes artefacts, large laminated photographs and an illustrated big book that tells the story of a ‘joanie' who adopts a family that visits the same seaside town over three generations. This resource includes many Cornish traditions that other generic materials do not, and will add flavour to your lessons.
