Introduction
This is a small volunteer-run museum, housed in a listed Chapel, with close links to its community. Displays include Natural History, including a Leatherback Turtle, Mining, the Harbour, 19th Century Social History, John Opie, Passmore Edwards, and much, much more. We have developed resources with our local schools in mind.

Retired teachers, Liz and Carol come to your school to provide a half a day's worth of activities on evacuation in the local area during WW2. Based on real events, ‘Fred's Story' gives an insight into what life was like for evacuees and their host families in the rural community of St Agnes. Illustrated with pictures and artefacts, the story is followed up with map work, crafts, drawing, sorting and handling. We are currently developing a Mining Outreach session - please contact us for details.
