Introduction
This Town Council managed museum houses an extensive social history collection including fishing, farming, mining, costume, civic life, toys, cycles, vehicles and local personalities. The periods span from the Victorians through to the 1950s. Many of the artefacts are on open display and cover local history, science & technology. A pre-visit is strongly recommended where museum staff will be on hand to discuss your group's visit. Enquiries for the ‘Victorian Schoolroom' workshop should be directed to the learning team at the Royal Cornwall Museum.

There is a museum shop.
