The new Telegraph Museum café is free to open and now open every day.

Serving fresh, seasonal food with a focus on locally-sourced ingredients, the new café at the Telegraph Museum Porthcurno is free to visit whether or not you're enjoying a visit to the new exhibitions. It's also the perfect stop-off whether you're visiting beautiful Porthcurno beach, the south west coastal path or the nearby Minack theatre.

Breakfast is served daily from 10:00 - 11:45 and includes fresh toast with luxury preserves and smoked salmon with scrambled eggs alongside breakfast staples such as bacon sandwiches and beans or eggs on toast.

Lunch is from 12:00 until 15:00 and as well as an extensive menu of homemade soups, fresh salads, sandwiches, paninis and pasta dishes is a daily specials board featuring the best of the season's produce. Menus change frequently but can include dishes such as a smoked mackerel and horseradish paté served with preserved lemon and crisp toasts, and Cornish Yarg salad with beetroot and pine nuts. Seasonal salds from £6.50, sandwiches and paninis from £5.00, soup of the day and fresh bread £4.50.

Child-friendly options are available too and cater for both adventurous little visitors who want 'grown up' food, and those who might be a little more particular! Children's dishes from £1.95.

Cakes, traybakes, brownies and other goodies are freshly baked in-house, from £2.00
