Recently St Agnes Museum Trust were successful in bidding in a nerve wracking auction for the 72" long cast iron sign that used to be on the side of the old signal box at St Agnes Railway station.

The face had been repainted and there is some debate at present about the original colour.

A generous volunteer transported it from the Auction house in Northants. back to St Agnes. Now we have to work out where best to display it at the museum. We look forward to letting everyone know when it is on display.
