Portraits in Plastic workshop a great success

Last month our resident artist Rob Arnold ran an event at the Liskeard Museum encouraging visitors to get creative with some of the waste found on our local beaches.

The results were fantastic ! Children and adults got involved and created some wonderful portraits, marine creatures and even aircraft.

This even was run as part of our Plastic Age exhibiton which highlights some of the issues with our throw away society and reliance on plastic.

Don't worry if you missed it though, the exhibition is running until October and we are hoping to hold another Portraits in Plastic workshop in the summer holidays.

See our facebook site for more of the artwork.
