Chris Easton welcomed pupils from Goonhavern school to talk to them about the problems of plastic washed up on the beach. He explained about nurdles (small pieces of plastic used to manufacture plastic products) and how marine life can mistake them for food. This followed a two-minute beach clean the pupils had held supervised by Perranporth's representative from Surfers Against Sewage (SAS)
