Visit the Daniel Gumb Room, where you can examine minerals under a giant microscope with the " Enlightened Eye". Then you can create your own artwork and have it uploaded on our website!
Discover colourful local characters from the past, such as our renowned architect Henry Rice, who designed Forester's Hall, which houses the museum with its Venetian Gothic frontage containing stone from local quarries. Liskeard also has a wonderful heritage trail to be enjoyed!
There is a small camera collection and photography paraphernalia by local photographers.
Learn about Emily Hobhouse, a local girl born in 1860 in St., Ive. Her courage changed the lives of many people in the Boer War. Now her ashes lie under the Women's Memorial, in Bloemfontein, South Africa.
