A grocery store from the last century presenting the visitor with a time capsule of days gone by when personal service and home deliveries were the order of the day.
The museum is owned and managed by the Tamar Protection Society - an environmental group which manages an additional museum of Tudor Elizabethan life and gardening at Mary Newmans Cottage.
Disabled access to ground floor only.

The World War 1 Exhibition is now open to visitors and is free of admission charge. This is a small taste of what you will see inside. Allow plenty of time for your visit to make sure you are able to peruse the exhibits without having to hurry, although if you don't see everything on your first visit, you can always come back.

Admission & Prices
Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 2.00 to 4.00 3rd April to end of September.
Admission charge Adults £2.00, Children £1.00 with reductions for group Educational Visits.
Groups and party visits most welcome outside normal opening times by arrangement.
