If you are interested in discovering who your ancestors were, where they lived and what they did but do not know what to do or how to start then come to the Public Hall in West Street, Liskeard on 21st May 2016.

Twenty local museums, archive centres and local History Societies, forming part of the South East Cornwall Museums Forum, will be providing displays and offering free information and advice on how to start searching your family’s history and suggesting possible ways forward if you have already commenced the journey but reached a dead end.

The Public Hall will be open from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm on the 21st May 2016 and entry is free.  Refreshments will be available.

This event has been designed to be family friendly with displays that are intended to appeal to all ages.  There will be plenty of help and advice with on-line assistance with free access to Wi-Fi.

Car parking in the nearby car parks is just a short walk away and Liskeard is also well served by local bus services and trains.

The museum teams look forward to meeting you and helping you to find your ancestors.
