Bodmin Keep: Cornwall’s Army Museum
Bodmin Keep has been standing proudly near the centre of town for over 150 years: built in 1859, it has buzzed with military activity throughout the ages, making it Bodmin's most prestigious historical building. Today behind the imposing exterior high walls, it's home to a fascinating collection that tells the stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things.
Collections cover Waterloo, World War One, World War Two, Boer War, Soldier's art, The Light Infantry and lots lots more! The galleries are only accessible via 2 flights of stairs and there is a recreated 'above ground' World War One trench in the old parade Ground.
